This year we're mailing a real catalog. Paper pages, bright photos, and toys you can circle and dog-ear with the kids. It lands in mailboxes the last week of October, and we'd love to send you one. It's free.

We don't offer online ordering right now. And these toys really are better in person anyway. Feel the weight of a wooden train. Give the plush a squeeze. Let your kids take a Candylab car for a spin at the play table. Bring the kids along, or come on your own with the pages they folded down. We'll help you find the right thing either way.
Can't make it in right away? We are happy to hold an item with complete payment. Items can be held for pickup for one week from purchase. Call us at (541) 899-7421 and we can set it aside for you.
Welcome to Happy Alpaca
Step inside our corner shop and you'll meet a life-size alpaca. There's a vibrant train table, a dollhouse waiting to be rearranged, a wooden kitchen ready for young chefs, a foosball table ready for a challenger and a piano anyone is welcome to play.
You'll also find a store where every item was chosen on purpose. We carry fewer things, and better ones. Wooden toys that get handed down to younger siblings. Books that get read until the covers wear soft. Games the whole family will actually pull off the shelf.
Many of the toys here have been tested by our own kids at home. If it's on our shelves, it earned its spot.

Monday to Saturday: 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 6 pm
(Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and at 3pm on Christmas Eve so our employees can hustle home to spend time with their families.)
Parking
Street parking is right out front. There's also a free lot past the library and post office, just a couple of blocks away.

See something in the catalog you don't want to miss? WIth complete payment, we are happy to hold an item for up to 7 days. Call (541) 899-7421 and we'll set it aside for you.
Our storage space is limited, so after 7 days, we’ll fully refund your purchase and add the item back to our shelves.
